For bakery distributors

Bakery distribution software for daily, short-life stock

Bagdor is distribution software for suppliers of bread, buns, rusk and cakes to shops. Daily orders come in on WhatsApp or the Retailer App, stock goes out first-expiry-first-out, returns and damage are recorded, and each delivery gets its GST bill and cash or UPI collection on the spot.

Why bakery distribution is hard to run by hand

  • Products last only a few days, so every extra piece ordered is a likely loss.
  • Shops return stale or damaged items and the credit is argued about later.
  • Daily orders from many small shops, mostly by phone and WhatsApp.
  • Small bills, paid in cash, collected by drivers.

How Bagdor handles it

Daily orders without calls

Shops type their order on WhatsApp or tap it in the Retailer App. Every order lands in one list.

Expiry-first dispatch

Batches with expiry dates, first-expiry-first-out dispatch and near-expiry lists for 3, 7 and 14 days.

Returns on record

Drivers take doorstep returns; the office posts returns with a credit note and decides whether to restock.

Damage and expiry write-offs

Stock adjustments for damage, expiry, shortage and vendor returns keep the stock ledger true.

Collection at the shop

Cash or UPI recorded against each bill in the Driver App, matched with the office at day close.

Works without signal

The Driver App keeps working offline and syncs when the phone is back online.

Questions distributors ask

How do I reduce expiry losses in dairy and FMCG distribution?

Bagdor keeps stock batch-wise with expiry dates and sends stock out first-expiry-first-out. Near-expiry lists for 3, 7 and 14 days show what to sell before it is wasted.

Does the delivery app work without internet?

Yes. The Driver App records deliveries, signatures, cash and crates without signal, and everything syncs when the phone is back online.

How do I stop cash going short when drivers collect payments?

Drivers record cash or UPI against each bill at the shop in the Driver App. At day close the office sees what was collected, what was handed over and any shortfall.

Do my retailers need to install an app?

No. Retailers can order on WhatsApp by typing what they need, like “2 butter, 1 bread”, and Bagdor makes the order at their rates. Retailers who want more can use the Retailer App, which shows your name and logo.

Can I make a GST bill with every delivery challan?

Yes. Every approved order becomes a delivery challan and its GST bill automatically at 2 AM, ready before drivers leave, and the office can also make one any time. CGST and SGST, or IGST, are worked out from the two addresses, so nothing is typed twice.

How do I stop missing retailer orders that come on WhatsApp and phone calls?

Bagdor puts every order (from the Retailer App, WhatsApp, phone and office entry) into one list with its own order code. The office approves or rejects orders in bulk, with each retailer’s credit limit checked, so no order is lost in a chat.
