How it works

How Bagdor runs a distributor’s day

Bagdor runs a distributor’s day on three connected apps: the Distributor Panel for your office, the Retailer App and WhatsApp for your retailers, and the Driver App for your drivers. Orders are approved, challans and GST bills are ready by 2 AM, and drivers deliver and collect. Here is one day, step by step.

One day on Bagdor, step by step

  1. Retailers order

Retailers order on WhatsApp by typing what they need, or in the Retailer App, at their own rates. Phone and office orders are entered too. Every order lands in one list with an order code, and an order cut-off marks late orders.

  2. The office approves

In the Distributor Panel the office approves orders one by one or in bulk. Shops over their credit limit are flagged before approval, and rejected orders carry a reason.

  3. Bagdor makes the buy list

From the approved orders and the stock in hand, Bagdor works out what to buy. Purchase orders go to vendors, and goods received are entered with their expiry dates.

  4. Challans and GST bills by 2 AM

Every approved order becomes a challan and its GST bill automatically at 2 AM, with CGST and SGST, or IGST, worked out, so bills are ready before the vans leave. The office can also make one any time. Stock goes out first-expiry-first-out.

  5. Drivers deliver and collect

Drivers see their stops in the order you set in the Driver App. At each shop they record delivery with a signature, take cash or UPI against the bill, count crates in and out and take returns, even without network.

  6. The day closes

Drivers hand over cash and the office sees any shortfall. Stock is checked, dues are updated, and overdue retailers get a WhatsApp reminder at 9:30 the next morning.

Common questions

How do I stop missing retailer orders that come on WhatsApp and phone calls?

Bagdor puts every order (from the Retailer App, WhatsApp, phone and office entry) into one list with its own order code. The office approves or rejects orders in bulk, with each retailer’s credit limit checked, so no order is lost in a chat.

Can I make a GST bill with every delivery challan?

Yes. Every approved order becomes a delivery challan and its GST bill automatically at 2 AM, ready before drivers leave, and the office can also make one any time. CGST and SGST, or IGST, are worked out from the two addresses, so nothing is typed twice.

Does the delivery app work without internet?

Yes. The Driver App records deliveries, signatures, cash and crates without signal, and everything syncs when the phone is back online.

How do I stop cash going short when drivers collect payments?

Drivers record cash or UPI against each bill at the shop in the Driver App. At day close the office sees what was collected, what was handed over and any shortfall.
