About Bagdor
What is Bagdor?
Bagdor is distributor management software from Sort String Solutions LLP, Varanasi. It runs an Indian distributor’s day in three connected apps: the Distributor Panel (web) for the office, the Retailer App (Android) or WhatsApp for retailers to order, and the Driver App (Android) for delivery, cash and crates. Approved orders become challans and GST bills automatically at 2 AM.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The Distributor Panel runs in a web browser, and the Retailer App and the Driver App are Android apps. Retailers who prefer can order on WhatsApp instead.
Is there an iPhone app?
No. The Retailer App and the Driver App are Android only. Retailers with an iPhone can order on WhatsApp, and the Distributor Panel works in any web browser.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The Driver App keeps working without signal and syncs later, so deliveries, cash and crates are never lost on the route. The Distributor Panel runs in a web browser, so the office needs internet to use it.
Orders and retailers
How do I stop missing retailer orders that come on WhatsApp and phone calls?
Bagdor puts every order (from the Retailer App, WhatsApp, phone and office entry) into one list with its own order code. The office approves or rejects orders in bulk, with each retailer’s credit limit checked, so no order is lost in a chat.
Do my retailers need to install an app?
No. Retailers can order on WhatsApp by typing what they need, like “2 butter, 1 bread”, and Bagdor makes the order at their rates. Retailers who want more can use the Retailer App, which shows your name and logo.
Can I bill each shop at its own rate?
Yes. Set rates for kirana shops, hotels and supermarkets, give any retailer a special rate per litre, kilo or piece, and schedule price changes ahead.
Can retailers ask for their baki on WhatsApp?
Yes. A retailer can type “baki”, “khata”, “balance” or “due” on WhatsApp and gets their outstanding amount back straight away, without calling your office.
Billing and payments
Can I make a GST bill with every delivery challan?
Yes. Every approved order becomes a delivery challan and its GST bill automatically at 2 AM, ready before drivers leave, and the office can also make one any time. CGST and SGST, or IGST, are worked out from the two addresses, so nothing is typed twice.
Can I bill from more than one GST firm?
Yes. Add each GST firm with its own GSTIN, bill series, bank details and logo, all in one account.
How can I recover outstanding payments (udhaar) from retailers faster?
See outstanding by retailer and by age, check credit limits on every order, and let Bagdor send overdue retailers a WhatsApp reminder at 9:30 every morning. Retailers can also type “baki” or “balance” on WhatsApp to see what they owe. Payments settle the oldest bill first.
How do I stop cash going short when drivers collect payments?
Drivers record cash or UPI against each bill at the shop in the Driver App. At day close the office sees what was collected, what was handed over and any shortfall.
Does Bagdor make e-invoices or e-way bills?
Not today. Bagdor makes GST tax invoices with each challan, but e-invoice (IRN) and e-way bill generation are not part of Bagdor yet.
Can I run schemes or discounts?
Not today. Schemes and discounts are not built yet. You can give any retailer a special rate, set different rates for kirana, hotels and supermarkets, and schedule price changes ahead.
Stock and delivery
How do I reduce expiry losses in dairy and FMCG distribution?
Bagdor keeps stock batch-wise with expiry dates and sends stock out first-expiry-first-out. Near-expiry lists for 3, 7 and 14 days show what to sell before it is wasted.
How can I track crates given to shops?
Bagdor keeps a running crate balance for every retailer. The driver counts crates given and taken back at every stop, so you always know who is holding your crates.
Does the delivery app work without internet?
Yes. The Driver App records deliveries, signatures, cash and crates without signal, and everything syncs when the phone is back online.
Does Bagdor track vans by GPS or plan routes?
No. You set the order of stops for each delivery run, and drivers can open each shop in Google Maps from the Driver App. Live GPS tracking and automatic route planning are not part of Bagdor today.
Can I use Bagdor for daily milk distribution to shops?
Yes. Bagdor was built around dairy distribution: night orders, a morning purchase list, stock by expiry, crates counted at every stop and cash collected on the route. It works the same way for FMCG, bakery, beverages and other daily-delivery goods.
Running your business
What reports does Bagdor have?
The daily dispatch sheet, dues by age (0–30, 31–45 and 45+ days) and the stock ledger. Most lists, including retailer ledgers, export to Excel or PDF.
Does Bagdor work with Tally?
Not today. Bagdor has no Tally sync. It makes your challans and GST bills itself, and ledgers and lists export to Excel or PDF for your accountant, who can keep Tally for the books.
Can I limit what my staff can see?
Yes. Office staff get Owner, Manager or Cashier roles, and can be limited to certain delivery routes.
Is my data private?
Yes. Each distributor has a separate workspace. No other distributor can see your retailers, rates or sales.
How is Bagdor priced?
Pricing depends on how many retailers you serve. Book a demo and we’ll share a quote.
How is Bagdor different from SalesPort?
Both are made by Sort String Solutions. Bagdor is a ready-to-use subscription for the distributor: its office, its retailers and its drivers. SalesPort is for brands and companies that manage many distributors and field sales teams.
